Hello! My name is Rob and 'back in the day' I made natural hemp wicks for the r/trees community. Well now I must regretfully say that Wholly Hemp Wicks are no more. With the increasing prevalence of high-tech combustion and vaporization products available, hemp wicks have gone the way of matches. Granted, there are still hemp wick makers still churning out wicks, but I must announce today that I will no longer be one of them.

Wholly Hemp opened with the philosophy that we all must work together to create a better world, and I would like to personally thank my loyal customers who stood by Wholly Hemp from the beginning. All the awesome people I met and spoke to in developing and distributing hemp wicks have truly changed my outlook on the world and have guided my decisions in how to develop Wholly Hemp. If it weren't for people like you, Wholly Hemp would not exist.

So where will Wholly Hemp go from here? Well as you can see from the home page (WhollyHemp.com), we've found our niche in natural skin care. While working on hemp wicks and researching the benefits of hemp, I came across many articles discussing the dermatological benefits of hemp. Being afflicted with a serious case of acne which did not respond to 'traditional' treatments, I started to make my own line of skin care products to serve my needs. Well soon friends and family saw the difference and asked for some Wholly Hemp for themselves! Before I knew it, I was churning out cleanser and moisturizer faster than you can say "Wholly Hemp!"

If you've read this far (thank you!), you're probably wondering where to get yourself some hemp wicks. To that, I have good news! A quick google search with "hemp wicks" and your city/region should turn up a local hemp wick maker. Also, check out http://reddit.com/r/merchents, I know for a fact there are some awesome merchEnts who carry hemp wicks!

If you're feeling creative, you can also go to the craft store and pick up some hemp twine, beeswax, and a cheap pot. Melt the wax in the pot and place the twine ball in for about ten minutes, making sure to cover all the twine. Remove and let cool, and you'll have 400ft of homemade natural hemp wicks!

For the past two years I have been proud to call myself the Ent Wick maker, and it truly pangs me to write this letter. I am honored by the support I have received from this community. You all mean so much to me, and Wholly Hemp would in no way be where it is now if not for YOU.

As we close the door on hemp wicks, a window has been opened, and Wholly Hemp will continue on as a leader in the natural hemp community.
